Let's start the gallery of the Eclipsed Feminine, as it emerges despite the occultation and silencing by patriarchal abuse.
The first archetype is linked to the abused and sacrificed anonymous female body. (If you are sensitive to the images, go to the Portal of Fear first). There is a figurine of a crucified female in fired clay in the Phoenician world, thus pre-roman, but I cannot find it anymore. I will add to this post another example from Southern America. The crucified woman is a very controversial image and was object of true censorship by the Catholic church up to recent times. There have been artists who insisted on representing it, and recently, due to the current war for women's rights across the world, the image has been repeatedly used in popular media with quite bitter and powerful imagery. I chose to start with this one, taken from an amazing comic art book by Bourgeon, which develops one story through three different timelines, because it gives the idea of evolution of souls through the Ages. It is a really remarkable piece of work, for those who enjoy that form of art. Also, as in other contemporary representations of this awful real archetype, the woman depicted in the comic is pregnant, closing the circle of meaning.

The female, the mother, the child.
(Addendum of December 2022: see the verse and the image from Garbage's song in the gallery below. The song was released on 28th April 2021, technical director's note).
All three are killed with no mercy and exposed, to keep the oppression going. This is the fathers' agency. An astrologer could tell me how many times it happened to me. But I know already, so I won't specify my planets, my houses for this. It's under everyone's eyes, now. This shadow Archetype is alive and can be read on the news every day. Anonymous, because there are too many, and because the son of God must be male. Bodies, because they are not considered as real persons, as "men". They are objects, as their children, and in a perverse reasoning, self-destructive vicious thinking, patriarchy is destroying itself and the world.
If Lilith has to be considered as the "rebel" woman, this is what she gets from the patriarchy. If she does not comply to be a submissive object of pleasure and a faithful slave, this is what she gets from the patriarchy. It's so incredible that this narrative is stubbornly avoiding to face the consequence of such a perversion by just focusing on the sexuality of the Lilith's archetype!! I find it honestly horrible that the feminine has been divided and fragmented in so many different and mutually exclusive characters... and more than that, I was struck by the last deceit, that which deals with the "gendered mind". I will write about it too...
