This full moon has been quite something. The Air element component was so powerful that it actually increased the speed of the energies and set the display on a communication and interaction level, making it very intense and very fruitful.

Here just three aspects of the configuration, which have been, in my experience the most relevant and useful.

First of all, the opposition of Venus and Pluto, now slowly subsiding, which has brought back some themes of the previously experienced conjunction between the end of 2021 and the beginning of 2022. Amazing how the opposition gave more “elbow space” to make the dynamics between these two archetypes play around in a more creative, loving, yet painful and tremendously rewarding exchange. The ghosts and obscure matter of the Lord of the Underworld interlaced with the soft overwhelming and fertile energies of the creative aspect of the Goddess, crystallizing and consolidating with slow but unstoppable pace the transmutation of the Soul in Love. Since the active polarity here was Capricorn-Cancer, what an amazing inner Alchemy could occur in those who were willing to engage with the deep. WOW!!

Then Saturn conjoining the Moon in Aquarius while opposing the Sun in Leo and squaring the nodes in Taurus (north node still conjoint Uranus and moving out of the conjunction with Mars) and Scorpio, finally set the Grand Cross on the collective stage. A lot of people whom I am in contact with were somehow beginning to touch their inner torment in this specific window of time. Some who already have taken the responsibility of their own “crux” at a personal growth level, were instead able to rise above it and take a more detached (Aquarius and Saturn retrograde) look on it. I also think this is the time where we can make an assessment as to how much we have actually moved out of the Piscean Age. This is why I decided to make “The cross will be light” meditation available to those who were in need of a navigational support for the transition.

For those who are still stuck in the lowest playout of the planetary archetypes and are still using external judgment to assess “a priori” aspects such as the conjunction of Saturn to the Moon, I am afraid this configuration might have brought up a little bit of uncomfortable constraints to their natural emotions or in general to the acknowledgment of their own Heart Intelligence. The opposition with the blinding bright sun in Leo, which is speaking about the strong and self-conscious structured self (or ego, again for those who believe only in one level of reality), might have really shed an unforgivable light to their role in their inner torment.

I will waste no more words on the necessity to integrate the archetypes and the importance of Saturn as an integrated yin/yang archetype… I get tired of repeating myself. But I surely told a lot of stories about it to the ones I was interacting with and were open to receive.

Another thing I am so tired about is having to point out the necessity of integrating also the lessons embedded in the South node in Scorpio, which is pulling us in to consider carefully our deep emotional needs and the memory of the heart. I will repeat myself in this case, it seems it is really never enough: the Heart has a memory, and never lies. If we are unable to listen to it and love it as it is, there is no way we can find what we deem is external love in the form of a supportive and real relationship with others. An interesting contribution I received in this respect about Scorpio is the quest for TRUTH. Better realize it, and soon, so that we can face the Uranus north node conjunction in Taurus with an appeased heart.

For I believe that the Uranus Mars conjunction with the North Node in Taurus has really been the highlight of this time and will still bring lessons to the collective in the coming months (really looking forward to the Mars retrograde season!!).

So here is the story which can distil the lesson learned so far, while being a real history lesson, too. Dedicated to those who believe the past has nothing to teach us, and that we do not need to reflect on our own actions or omissions in the present life.

THE GORDIAN KNOT

I believe that Alexander the Great had some Uranus-Mars aspects in his chart. He become a king at 16 years of age, after his father was killed in a plot. We are in Ancient Greece, in a time in which “art” was only starting to be conceived as separated strands: it was Mousikè, an interrelated and coherent system of singing, poetry, music, dance, beauty and deep spiritual devotion. It was all one thing. And Alexander knew about it. He was also the pupil of Aristotle, who was his personal teacher and mentor. I mean, Aristotle, right? The philosopher who revolutionised western thought by shifting the attention to rationality, logic, categorization.

Alexander lived a very short life. When he died at 33, in 323 B.C., the ancient world had completely changed through his truly impressive, martial, and strategic drastic action. Martial, Uranian spirit!

At 16 years of age, when he became king, the first action he took was so fast and so destructive that the ancient towns which traditionally had juggled the destiny of the archipelagos were left a little bit taken aback. He heard that the towns were seizing the opportunity of rebelling, of course, and one of them was Thebes. He set his faithful army (because he started to be a king and a military leader well before officially becoming one) to march for two weeks in a row (it’s the ancient world, you know? No shortcuts to bypass material, physical reality!), set a siege to Thebes and gave an ultimatum. Imagine this sixteen years old boy asking the town of Thebes to surrender. They of course refused. He destroyed it. Burned it. Dismantled its walls to the ground. A flat field. Period.

I am not justifying wars or destruction, guys, I hope you understand. Strategically, this action was perfect. And this is just a REAL story to learn from, not to repeat.

He did other incredible things, which were told in many tales and novels (actually, that’s when the novel as a literary genre started to be born), and I strongly suspect that this was still part of his impeccable strategy. He was also very religious in a syncretistic way, as the ancient world was full of many religions, and he respected them all, while intermingling his name to them for centuries to come.

So, when he arrived in what today is called Turkey (I am oversimplifying here, I hope you understand), there was a legend about a mythical Knot, called the Gordian Knot.

This Knot was tying a Chariot to a specific place in that town, and the legend said that only the one who could untie it would become the only ruler of the territory, since times immemorable.

So, he tried. But, of course, that knot was impossible to untangle. No matter how much he would pull a cord here or push another there (I am just imagining), there seemed no way to do it.

And so, Alexander took out his sword, and with one single, powerful blow, he cut it off.

Imagine Aristotle!! What a disappointment for the teacher who would like everyone to follow his rules, his well-defined boundaries for the sake of tradition, for the sake of the newly discovered structure, of order, of things done according to his book, to ensure leaving things as they were, as they always have been, in the hands of the old boys’ club and not even conscious of the fear he had for something so utterly unexpected as Alexander the Great!

Alexander knew and respected all the rules and traditions. But he did not renounce to breaking them all, symbolically as well as in his own life. And he really changed the world forever.

Mars conjoining Uranus in Taurus gave us a taster of this incredible power of Change which knows and acknowledges traditions, values and habits, but does not withdraw from a focused, precisely aimed, drastic and definitive real action to embrace the necessary change. The elimination of the Gordian Knot problem set free that Chariot which stale and old beliefs were blocking, through the body vehicle, trough our own actions in the real world.

The fixed cross acting out in this full moon was highlighting all the Aquarian themes, the necessary revision of old beliefs through Saturn, a new concept of time, the acceptance of all the nuances of our heart, both as individuals and as a collective hub of humanity, the need to detach to those habits or external patriarchal beliefs which were attempting to block our growth, joy and success.

The Anchor has been weighed.

The time for the Air Eon is here.
