The Anatomy of the Flame - Antares

Antares is incredibly powerful. It is one of the most commanding stars up there, even more than Arcturus. The fact that it has been linked by some to Archangel Uriel, the fourth archangel forgotten in the sacred scriptures and that his name might mean "the Flame of God", suggests some importance to the concept of fire.

Antares is so red, and shiny that it is impossible to miss in the sky.

One of the denomination which seems to be attributed to Antares (currently at 9°46 Sagittarius, located in the constellation of Scorpio, its heart) by the Egyptians is "the Red one of the Prow".

Today, it is aligned with the Sun.
