The energies are flowing with such intensity since a few days before the New Moon in Leo on the 28th of July, and with such swift change and complexity, it might feel overwhelming.
This is going to be a long post, and I will leave out a lot of things. I made a little video about some suggestions on how to navigate only a few aspects of the new moon configuration, so I won't repeat myself here.
The New Moon spoke again about the rise of the Feminine aspect of the Soul, exemplified this time by Venus conjoint Lilith (mean position).
That aspect of the inner goddes is by far the most rejected of all by (patriarchal) definition, so it must have been tricky to recognise for those who are still stuck in duality. These two together were incredibly powerful, though, and many souls recognised those energies and did their work of celebration and balancing. All the others... Well, they simply just ignore it, as they were taught to do so for a few thousand of years. To them she is invisible and does not exist, or needs to be outcast to confirm the status quo and the necessity of staying stuck in the past cycle. Her power was truly, truly amazing, regardless of stale beliefs.
Yesterday Jupiter initiated its travel backwards by stationing retrograde in Aries. The power of the Sky-God was so incredible that it literally broke the sky open. A long awaited, violent rain with thunder and lightning finally washed away a lot of doubts and gave some refreshment from the self centred Leo Sun and the rebel shadow of Aquarius.
This new moon in Leo, in my personal opinion, was the most powerful fixed cross activation of the year so far, even if (again) the Scorpio south node is completely forgotten by most pop astrology, as I already lamented when the shift of the nodes happened. A certain stubbornness we did not realise about ourselves might emerge to be processed.
I believe that the collective happenings (especially regarding the mistreatment of humans justified by obsolete "traditions") might have stirred some sensitive souls back on the understanding of the polarity as an axial perspective, but we'll see.
So, the energies of Mars are conjoining Uranus and the North Node (exact on the 2nd of August) in Taurus, aligned with the fixed star Ruchbah.
The message this triple conjunction has been bringing in could be summarised as the NEED to act in the physical world (known also as three dimensional reality: Mars) to break the toxic cycles which are keeping us from encountering our well deserved safety and grounded stability (in Taurus). The energies of Uranus, by far the most disruptive of all the planetary archetypes, are pushing us to see the future we are building for ourselves and the planet (north node) and to use all the means possible (including all the technology presently available) to achieve it.
If we did not consider the shadow of Scorpio in this configuration we will be unaware of the deep emotional needs which underlie our own desires, and we will tend to miss the opportunity to alchemyze the earth with water (theme of my recent alchemical art). This means we will stay stuck in visions of material gain, egoistic and edonistic fulfillment, which can hold our soul stuck again. Such seems to be also the message of Ruchbah, the fixed Star aligned with this conjunction. Cassiopeia, the constellation it belongs to, is the "enthroned queen" of the Sky, who in ancient Greek mythology was ready to sacrifice her own daughter because of her vanity. I already treated extensively the story of Andromeda and Perseus and the archetypal constellation related to this portion of the upper Sky, but in general it seems Ruchbah acts this time as an alert and the same question needs to be asked:
Where have we sacrificed the most pure and vulnerable part of our soul for the sake of building an outer mask of power and vanity?
Uranus and Mars, though, will act their energies quite intensely through the "cycle breaker" pattern in any case, so I suggested to check in with ourselves and distinguish what vicious cycles we need to detach from, to avoid the tower crushing down by external contribution on what we believed we were. Here, I believe, the unacknowledged shadow of Aquarius could indeed surprise us.
Yesterday the moon was conjoint Mercury: always remember to communicate gently with yourself and others, especially if delicate knots need to be disentangled.
Chiron slowly retrograding in Aries, in fact, is delivering important (painful) teachings on where we need to take care of ourselves, by exposing our wounds, especially those we carry with us since early childhood when we started building our egos. There's nothing wrong to discover we are wounded and need healing. Be kind with yourself, be patient.
Finally, a note on Jupiter retrograding in Aries. Despite what pop astrology wants to see in Jupiter... I believe we have the opportunity to reflect carefully on how we spent our energy since April until now, when Jupiter entered Aries. Was our energy wisely spent? Is it really worth it? Are we on the brim of a burnout? Do not be afraid to take a break and rest, and of looking back. There is no self-indulgence if our health is at risk. Take care of your bodily vehicle, deck, navigation system, engine included (something which is literally being pointed out also by Mars and Uranus).
I did not forget you, Pluto... Issues regarding very skewed concepts of personal power expressed through abuse on others are still lingering in the air, although I believe this New Moon has clarified where true personal empowerment lies. I hope Pluto will return to mean the soul transformation.
